Plea for Stolen Phone

Click on image for full sizeShoalhaven Police are issuing a plea on behalf of a local family who fell victim to crime last week.  Their car was broken into and a handbag stolen, which contained a mobile phone and an Olympus digital camera amongst other things.  Unfortunately, the mobile phone and digital camera contained the majority of the family photographs, and this has left the parents devastated, fearing they will have no photos of their children growing up to where they are today.
The family have posted a number of flyers around some local shops and as can be seen by the photo, even the kids are pitching in to have their cherished memories returned.  The family has conceded that their material possessions may be gone, however remain hopeful that somebody's conscience or a good samaritan may help them get their stolen memories back.  The camera (memory card) and mobile phone will hold no value to anybody else, but holds immense sentimental value to this family.
Police are asking that anyone with information in relation to this stolen property make contact ASAP.  This may be done directly through Nowra Police Station or anonymously through Crimestoppers.  The property may also be handed in anonymously to Police or the shops where you may see the flyers located.  Please direct any information to the Crime Prevention Officer at Nowra Police Station.
