Biggest Morning Tea Update

We had a wonderful biggest morning tea for cancer on Thursday 28th May at the Milton courts. A huge thank you to everyone for your support and donating so generously, thank you to the girls at Ulladulla for your contribution and the committee for donating the court fees for the day, with everybody's participation we raised an amazing total of $1043.

5th prize: Gift voucher from Georgina's, Lesley Harper. A wonderful result.

Biggest Morning Tea

The biggest morning tea for cancer will be held at the Milton tennis courts at Croobyar Road Milton on Thursday 28th May from 10am, everyone welcome. Our theme this year is ' be beautiful in blue', so wear something blue and join us for a fun morning, good company,lots of prizes and some yummy food,and raise money for a very worthy cause.

Vodafone 3G Is Now Available On The South Coast.

Vodafone has recently launched its 3G network coverage on the South Coast. This is from Vodafone’s network upgrade which plans to reach 94 percent of the Australian population with 3G access. This upgrade enables users in regional areas access to high speed wireless broadband. Signal strengths are very low around Mollymook and Ulladulla, with frequent drop outs but this should be improved after the second stage of the upgrade is complete. Vodafone's upgrade should be finished and tweaked by the 31 August 2009.

Milton Platypi Pull Off A 32 to 7 win Against Bermagui.

The Milton Platypi pulled off a win today at Frogs Holla against Bermagui. Milton scored 6 tries and converted 1 goal with Bermagui only scoring a converted tri. Numbers were only just with both teams not having many reserves and didn’t Bermagui have any spares on the side line.

Tourism rises 16 per cent bringing $630 million for the city.

Last year the Shoalhaven saw more than 2.7 million visitors enjoy the sensational city, bringing with them more than $630 million and creating more than 6,000 jobs in the city.
The economic growth in the tourism revenue is an increase of $85 million for the 2007 calendar year.
