Police investigate shooting at caravan park - Nowra
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting of a man at a caravan park in Nowra this morning.
About 2am, Sunday 26 February 2012, police and NSW Ambulance Paramedics were called to a caravan park on Pleasant Way following reports of a shooting.
It is believed a 30-year-old man was inside his caravan when he was shot a number of times before his attacker fled the scene.
The injured man was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to Shoalhaven Hospital suffering a gun shot wound to his body.
He remains in a critical condition and is expected to be airlifted to Sydney.
A crime scene has been established and will be examined by specialist forensic officers while detectives from Shoalhaven Local Area Command conduct investigations into the shooting.
